By downloading or using FinLab, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use FinLab.
FinLab is an educational app for finance interview preparation (investment banking and private equity): practice questions, lessons, progress tracking, readiness scores, and an optional AI tutor. All practice content is original, AI-authored material written in the style of real interview technicals. FinLab is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any bank, fund, or credential body, using FinLab does not guarantee any interview outcome or job offer, and nothing in FinLab is investment, financial, legal, or tax advice.
You must be at least 13 years old to use FinLab. If you are under 18, you may use FinLab only with the involvement of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

We may suspend or block accounts, devices, or sessions that violate this section.
You own the messages you send to the AI tutor. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process that content solely to provide the service — to generate a response and return it to you. We do not store your tutoring messages after the response is delivered, and we do not use your content to train AI models.
FinLab — including its name, design, code, question bank, lessons, and strategy content — is owned by the operator and protected by law. Except for your personal, non-commercial use of the app, no license to our content is granted.
FinLab uses Anthropic (AI), Apple (sign-in and payments), Google (sign-in), Supabase (accounts and email), and Railway (hosting). Your use of those services through FinLab is also subject to their terms. Lesson video links open YouTube, where Google's terms apply.
You may stop using FinLab at any time and may request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms. Sections that by their nature survive termination (including 7–9 and 12–16) survive.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. FinLab does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that AI-generated content will be accurate. FinLab does not warrant any particular interview outcome, job offer, or career result, and provides no investment advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits or data. Total liability for all claims is limited to the greater of one hundred US dollars ($100) or the amounts you paid for FinLab Pro in the twelve months before the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities; in those jurisdictions the above limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted by law and may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer under applicable law.
You will indemnify and hold the operator harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you consent to their jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction whose law requires otherwise, mandatory consumer protections of your jurisdiction remain unaffected.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted with a new "Last updated" date, and your continued use of FinLab after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
